Residential Support Worker – Wootton
Salary: £13.20 - £13.90 per hour / £26,769 - £28,189 per annum - Sleep ins paid at £62.64, working out to an extra £3,000 - £6,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week
Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence is required
Our Children’s Home in Wootton, Bedfordshire is looking for a Residential Support Worker to join their team and be part of something special. Working with children and young people in residential settings who need a kind, caring and fun place to live despite the challenges they may bring.
Our young people are between 8-18 years old and display emotional and behavioural difficulties. We are looking for motivated, determined and resilient staff who are flexible and able to adapt to challenging situations. You will work to a rota of 39 hours per week, including shifts with long days and sleep-ins.

Responsibilities
Work with children and young people in residential settings to provide a safe, supportive and stimulating environment. Contribute to a teamwork-based approach under the supervision of a manager and alongside a team of Support Workers.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Full UK Driving Licence is required
* Enhanced DBS check required
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of those in our care
