About The
RoleAs a Credit Analyst you will review business financial information and Credit Reference Agency data to recommend appropriate dealer stock funding facilities. You will play a key part in monitoring and managing the funding portfolio, identifying potential risks and taking proactive steps to mitigate them. Ensuring compliance with internal proc
ess,procedures and reporting standards is essential, as is responding to alerts from credit agencies to manage risk in line with our credit pol
icy.
What You'll Be
Doing· Conducting credit analysis for new stocking limit applications, renewals and amendments, by interpreting business financial information and credit reference agency data. This includes report writing to summarise your findings and recommendat
ions.· Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in internal systems to support cross-functional t
eams.· Conduct anti money laundering and portfolio checks to ensure dealers meet eligibility criteria and NextGear Capital remains compliant with regulatory requirem
ents.· Collaborate closely with teams across NextGear Capital and Cox Automotive to support seamless completion of credit analysis t
asks.· Building, developing and managing strong funding relationships with business owners and Directors of new and existing cli
ents.
What We're Looki
ng For· Previous experience in credit or underwriting for commercial credit facilities is preferred, but not esse
ntial.· Strong financial analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial statements (P&L & Balance Sheet analysis is essen
tial).· Familiarity with Credit Reference Agency reports is advanta
geous.· Automotive industry knowledge is desirable, but not esse
ntial.· Experience with Salesforce is advanta
geous.· Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word &
Excel.· Analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and a strong credit analysis
focus.· Excellent decision-making, prioritization and time management s
kills.· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all l
evels.· Confident problem-solver and team player with a calm approach under pre
ssure.· Solid IT, numerical and data interpretation
