Qualifications
Qualified GP MRCGP Vocational Training Certificate or Equivalent General Practitioner; On Medical Performers List; Willing to undertake continuous personal development and ongoing mandatory training modules. Evidence of continued professional development; Experience of appraisal in practice or other healthcare setting; Additional clinical skills beyond General Practice. Aptitude and Abilities
Willingness to share and collaborate across entire primary health team - Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with multidisciplinary and multiagency teams Ability to work flexibly and with a facilitative approach Ability to recognise own limitations and act upon them appropriately Willingness to learn new skills and to problem solve on a daily basis An understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality Ability to work within the changing structures of the NHS and work to the requirements of other regulatory bodies Excellent communication skills, recognising peoples needs for alternative methods of communication and able to respond accordingly Ability to deal with sensitive information in a tactful way Ability to input to strategic and practice development requirements Ability to challenge traditional models of working and to suggest improvements for change in a positive and inclusive manner Experience
