A great opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of social housing refurbishment works. You’ll assist in coordinating daily site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their site leadership career.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the running of day-to-day site activities from start through to handover
* Supervise trades, monitor progress and quality, and ensure compliance with specifications
* Carry out regular safety checks and help maintain a strong health & safety culture
* Assist with materials control and liaise with procurement teams
* Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, site teams and project stakeholders
* Provide accurate updates to internal teams and contribute to smooth project delivery
* Work collaboratively with customer service colleagues to resolve queries promptly
Skills & Experience Required
* Solid understanding of construction processes and site coordination
* Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability
* Confident communicator, able to engage with residents and contractors
* Well organised with good attention to detail
* Computer literate with the ability to manage basic site documentation
* Awareness of building regulations and compliance requirements
* A team-focused approach
