On behalf of M&G, AMS are looking for a Business Readiness Analyst - Finance for an initial 9-month contract based in Edinburgh. Purpose of the role: The Finance Business Readiness Analyst will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the Business Readiness activities for the Liquidity Reporting project. The Finance Business Readiness Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the Finance functions impacted, are fully prepared for the implementation of new processes, systems and technology solutions arising from business change. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of change are managed effectively and that Finance is ready and able to accept the change. What you'll do: Apply the Finance Business Readiness framework, executing agreed processes, tools, tracking and readiness sign-off in line with M&G standards. Identify and engage all impacted stakeholders and SMEs, facilitating alignment on readiness responsibilities, timelines and governance expectations. Define, baseline and agree clear, measurable business readiness criteria across people, process, data, systems, outputs and governance. Track, monitor and report readiness progress using approved trackers and dashboards, highlighting risks, actions and RAG status to governance forums. Coordinate evidence collection, risk management and formal sign-off, supporting Go/No-Go decisions through validated readiness documentation and summaries. The skills you'll need: Experience in change management, project management, or a related role within the financial services sector. Strong organisational, coordination, and facilitation skills. Confident leading stakeholder engagement across varying seniority levels. Ability to work with governance forums and senior sponsors Ability to critically evaluate readiness evidence and identify gaps. Strong planning, documentation and communication skills.
