Job Role: Field Service Engineer (Heavy Plant)
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
The Client:

With a strong reputation for innovation and reliability due expanding its UK engineering team and is seeking experienced Mobile Plant Engineers to join their growing operation.

The Package:
1. Door to door paid with all travel time and expenses paid for
2. 32 days annual leave (including bank holidays)

The Responsibilities:
9. Attend customer sites to carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on specialist plant and municipal equipment
10. Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently
11. Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure equipment reliability
12. Provide technical advice and support to customers on equipment usage and upkeep
13. Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work completed
14. Liaise with the internal engineering team to share insights and improve service delivery
The Requirements:
15. Background in Plant, HGV, Automotive, or Agricultural engineering (essential)
16. Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
17. Experience working with engines and fault-finding tools is advantageous
18. Recognised engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds) are desirable
19. Full UK Driving Licence is essential
20. HGV licence preferred or willingness to obtain one (training support available)
21. Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently in the field
