Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed Term until 31/08/2026
Location: Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

We are looking to recruit an officer with experience in homelessness and housing to join the team as a Housing Advice Officer to provide Maternity Cover until 31st August 2026. The successful candidate will work well under pressure and in a busy and demanding environment.
Key roles and responsibilities include preventing homelessness and discharging the Council's statutory duties towards homeless persons. The role ensures delivery of an accessible and comprehensive housing advice service to the general public. Working within the team, assisting the Senior Housing Advice Manager in the delivery of these services.
For the role, we ask that you have:
* A relevant Level 4 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example HNC in Housing.
* Working knowledge of Landlord/Tenant issues.
* Proven experience in social housing.
