This is an exciting opportunity for a Principal Data Analyst to work within a dynamic, supportive, and multi-disciplinary team.
The successful post holder will play a key role in providing analysis to inform the development and improvement of clinical care, including tracking operational and financial impacts. The role involves working closely with the VBHC team to ensure the UHB’s clinical workstreams receive timely informatics and analytical support for robust evaluation. A collaborative approach is essential for delivering analytics that drive change and improve health outcomes.
The post will be within the Business Intelligence team, with workload managed by corporate finance.
A focus area will be within corporate finance: costing and commissioning. Developing analytics to support accurately costed activity, recover income, and shape service delivery changes is vital for financial and operational sustainability.
You should have proven experience in an analysis role with Business Intelligence products to drive change. Be proactive, forward-thinking, innovative, entrepreneurial, and creative in producing and distributing information.
Possess the specialist knowledge and skills for the role, have a positive attitude, be driven to use the latest technology, and be an excellent communicator capable of planning and managing projects. Experience in building stakeholder relationships is important, as you will work closely with colleagues across disciplines.
