My client based on the outskirts of St Ives Cambridgeshire are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate will develop solid long-term relationships with assigned customers by fully understanding their requirements. Contribute to support growth of the business by maximising sales opportunities and achieving sales and gross profit targets.
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
Salary: £28-38,000
Key responsibilities:
1. Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers.
2. Lead in negotiating contracts and agreements to optimise profit from key accounts.
3. Engage with new / prospective customers and provide solutions / proposals to meet the needs of both parties.
4. Provide Sales forecasts and track key account metrics i.e., revenue, profit, OTIF delivery.
5. Ensure internal MRP system is maintained and up to date with customer requirements.
6. Provide customers with updates on delivery and build statuses.
7. Compile and provide quotations based on specific customer requirements.
8. Understanding the fast-paced environment in which electronics customers operate and the need for quick response times.
9. As primary point of contact, support any commercial, quality or any other problems and ensure a satisfactory resolution is reached in a timely manner.
10. Arrange and support on-site customer visits, tours and general meetings.
11. Attend customer sites for meetings as and when required.
12. Arrange Contract Review meetings to discuss, plan and facilitate customer requirements.
13. Serve as the key link between all internal stakeholders within company and customers.
