Electrical Maintenance Technician Location: Hartlepool (TS25) Salary: £42,238 basic (inclusive of shift allowance), rising to £46,395 upon demonstration of site-specific competencies quarterly bonus An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and skilled Electrical Craft Team Member to join a leading steel manufacturer at their Hartlepool site. The Role Working as part of a multi-disciplined engineering team within the 20” Pipe Mill, the Electrical Craft Team Member will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems across the site. Reporting to the Shift Engineer, key responsibilities include: Performing preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise plant downtime Adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental standards and ensuring compliance with safe working procedures Providing technical expertise to diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently Collaborating with engineering teams to improve process control systems Delivering high-quality workmanship, ensuring robust and long-lasting repairs This role operates on a rotating shift pattern, consisting of 12-hour day and night shifts (2 days, 2 nights, followed by 4 days off). The Candidate The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a strong background in electrical maintenance.
