Area: m62 corridor
Package: £40,000 to £55,000 plus commission & car
The role
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Area Sales Manager to take ownership of a defined territory and drive sustainable sales growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships, spotting opportunities, and making a real impact on business performance.
You’ll be trusted to manage your area like your own business, balancing strategic planning with hands‑on sales activity, while working closely with internal teams to deliver excellent service to customers.
What you’ll be doing
* Managing and growing sales across your assigned region, with full accountability for performance and targets
* Developing strong, long‑term relationships with both existing customers and new prospects
* Identifying opportunities to expand product usage and increase market share
* Planning and executing effective sales visits, product demonstrations, and presentations
* Negotiating pricing and commercial agreements within agreed parameters
* Keeping accurate records of activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM systems
* Monitoring competitor activity and market trends, feeding insights back into the wider team
* Collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth onboarding, delivery, and ongoing customer support
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience in a field‑based sales or area management role
* A confident communicator who can build trust at all levels
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Self‑motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently
* A commercial mindset with the ability to spot and convert opportunities
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region
