Apprenticeships Skills Tutor in Plumbing Location: Belvedere Salary: Dependent on Experience Hours: 28 Hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Contract: 30/04/2026 with the potential to be extended About the Role and Client: We are recruiting on behalf of a respected educational institution seeking an experienced Plumbing Lecturer to cover staff sickness. You will deliver high-quality teaching to apprentices studying within the construction sector. This role focuses on supporting learners through Property Maintenance Operative and Carpentry & Joinery apprenticeship standards, ensuring they are fully prepared for their End Point Assessments. You will play a key role in shaping learners’ futures by delivering engaging lessons, tracking progress, and contributing to curriculum development within a supportive and forward-thinking college environment. Responsibilities: * Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to apprentices * Teach knowledge, skills and behaviours aligned with apprenticeship standards * Prepare learners for End Point Assessment (EPA) * Monitor and track apprentice progress to ensure timely achievement * Develop engaging lesson plans, schemes of work and course materials * Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records * Support student personal development and progression * Contribute to curriculum development and programme improvement * Work collaboratively with colleagues, skills coaches and employers * Attend team meetings, open evenings and promotional events as required Candidate Requirements: * Should hold Assessors award & L3 Plumbing NVQ * Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent) * Strong communication and organisational skills * Efficient administration and record-keeping abilities * Enhanced DBS within the last three years About Morgan Jones: Morgan Jones Limited acts as an employment agency.
