Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join its busy and supportive Conveyancing team in Henley-on-Thames. This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal or Legal Assistant with residential property experience to develop their career within a well-established and forward-thinking firm. The Role You will provide hands-on support to Fee Earners across the full residential conveyancing transaction lifecycle, with a particular focus on pre-completion and post-completion matters. The role offers strong exposure to live files, client contact, Land Registry processes and completion work. Key Responsibilities Preparing contract packs for residential property sales Managing pre-completion and post-completion conveyancing tasks Submitting priority searches and bankruptcy searches Preparing and filing SDLT returns with HMRC Ordering and reviewing property searches via online search providers Processing HM Land Registry applications and registrations Drafting and preparing completion documentation Assisting with exchange and completion administration Liaising with Clients, Estate Agents, Lenders and Solicitors Providing regular transaction updates to all parties Supporting Fee Earners with legal documents and file management Handling telephone enquiries and client communications Issuing completion letters and confirming completion to relevant parties Your Profile We are keen to hear from candidates who have: Previous experience as a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant Exposure to pre-completion and post-completion work Working knowledge of Land Registry, SDLT and conveyancing searches Experience supporting solicitors or licensed conveyancers Strong administrative and case management skills Excellent written and verbal communication High attention to detail and organisation A proactive and team-focused approach Law graduates with relevant conveyancing experience are encouraged to apply.
