Planning & Sales Administration Supervisor Location: Stourbridge Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE) Lead, motivate, and improve a busy planning and sales support team We’re looking for a confident and proactive Planning & Sales Administration Supervisor to lead a small but busy team responsible for order processing, production planning, and customer service. This is a great opportunity for a strong team leader who can spot inefficiencies, drive improvements, and confidently challenge existing processes to make a real impact on business performance. What you’ll be doing Supervise and develop the Planning and Sales Administration teams, ensuring accurate order entry and excellent customer service. Translate customer demand into realistic production schedules and coordinate with operations to deliver on time. Identify process gaps or bottlenecks within planning and order management, propose solutions, and work with management to implement improvements. Monitor open orders, lead times, and delivery dates, keeping customers informed throughout. Liaise closely with production, warehouse, and dispatch teams to align priorities and maintain workflow. Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to keep communication clear and morale high. Manage workloads, set priorities, and ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and accountability across the team. Review and refine administrative processes to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and reporting. Support the implementation of new systems or tools to enhance visibility and planning capability. What we’re looking for A strong leader with experience supervising a planning, sales admin, or operations support team. Confident communicator who can challenge constructively and engage with senior management. Proven ability to find and solve process issues, not just flag them. Excellent organisational and coordination skills with a keen eye for detail. Experience using ERP/MRP systems and solid Excel ability. Understanding of production, logistics, or manufacturing environments. Calm under pressure with a positive, solutions-focused mindset. Qualifications & Experience 3–5 years’ experience in planning, production coordination, or sales administration. Previous supervisory or team lead experience required. Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related qualification (desirable). Why apply?
