Overview
We are seeking a highly capable and motivated individual to lead the operational delivery of Streetscene services across the city and support the Strategic Streetpride Manager in shaping a cleaner, greener, better Coventry. Your responsibilities will include the effective management of street cleansing, grounds maintenance and associated public realm functions, ensuring the consistent achievement of service standards. The postholder will translate strategic priorities into operational plans, deploy resources effectively, manage budgets, lead staff, and support continuous improvement through service review and data‑driven decision‑making, while collaborating with internal and external partners, elected members and community stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Translate strategic priorities into actionable operational plans.

* Provide technical and operational advice to senior management.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support data‑driven decision making.

Qualifications
* Proven leadership experience in operational service delivery, ideally in a public realm, environmental or neighbourhood services setting.
* Strong strategic thinking with the ability to turn priorities into practical, deliverable plans.
* Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with communities, partners and elected members.
* A commitment to high standards, continuous improvement and customer‑focused service.
* Experience managing budgets, resources and performance in a complex operational environment.
