£12.21 per hour plus benefits

About Cancer Research UK:
We aim to beat cancer and need passionate individuals to help us achieve this. Join our trading team as a retail assistant and be an ambassador for our cause, taking responsibility for the shop on Sundays.
Responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing the shop’s operations on Sundays, including keyholder duties (training provided) and supporting volunteers.
2. Supporting the team to meet sales and fundraising targets.
3. Processing donated goods and stock.
4. Generating new income ideas with guidance from the Shop Manager.
5. Providing excellent customer service to supporters and customers.
6. Maintaining shop standards related to safeguarding, compliance, and health & safety.
7. Performing manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.
Candidate requirements:
* Knowledge of excellent customer service.
* Experience working in lively environments.
* Adaptability and teamwork skills.
* Commercial awareness.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, balancing work and personal life.
