They are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Site Engineer to play a pivotal role in the delivery of these projects, ensuring technical excellence and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage technical aspects of on-site operations.
* Ensure projects meet all quality, safety, and environmental standards.
* Conduct site surveys, set out works, and prepare accurate as-built drawings.
* Provide technical support to the site team and resolve engineering challenges.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
* Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets, implementing corrective actions as required.
* Maintain compliance with design specifications and standards.
* Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, and reports.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction or civil engineering industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, design specifications, and project management.
* Proficiency with relevant software, such as AutoCAD and surveying equipment.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
* Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related field (e.g., HND, BSc, or equivalent).
* CSCS card and a full driving license are essential.
