We have an exciting opportunity to join our Project Management Office team as a Business Analyst to support the Council's Digital Transformation Programme by contributing to digital projects across the council with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
You will work closely with the PMO Manager, Programme Managers, Project teams, and business stakeholders, providing key analytical support to understand, document, and deliver customer and business needs in line with organisational policy.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience with Agile and Digital projects, along with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. You should have experience analyzing and rationalizing data from diverse business systems into aggregated information to support strategic decision-making. Experience in mapping and modeling business and technical processes to support business change programmes is also required.
Qualifications should include an education to HNC/D level or equivalent experience, with formal qualifications in business analysis, project, service design, or service management preferred. You should be comfortable dealing with a wide range of customers, capturing business requirements, data, and coordinating user stories.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, methodical self-starter who can build positive relationships and communicate confidently at all levels. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential, along with a disciplined work approach.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with up to 40-60% of time working from home, depending on service needs.
