Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Leeds
An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Associate (circa 1–5 PQE, however applications are welcome at all levels) to join a highly respected and expanding national healthcare litigation team. The Team:
You will be joining a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked team that advises NHS organisations, private insurers and healthcare providers on complex clinical negligence and medical malpractice claims.
As one of a select number of firms appointed to act for NHS Resolution, the team is regularly instructed on high-value, sensitive and precedent-setting cases.

Key Responsibilities:
\n
* Managing your own caseload of pre-litigated and litigated clinical negligence and malpractice claims, under appropriate supervision
* Advising NHS bodies, insurers and primary care practitioners
* Drafting legal documents, conducting legal research and providing clear, concise advice
* Liaising directly with clients, counsel and experts
* Supporting business development and wider team initiatives
* Assisting in the supervision and mentoring of junior team members, as appropriate

Your Profile:
Tou will offer:
\n
* 1–5 years’ post-qualified experience in clinical negligence or defendant medical malpractice
* Previous experience acting on behalf of the NHS or insurers is advantageous
* Strong drafting and analytical skills
* Commercial awareness and a practical approach to case strategy
* Excellent client-facing and relationship-building skills
* A collaborative working style and eagerness to contribute to team success
* An interest in developing sector-specific expertise within healthcare law
