Key Responsibilities of a Lifting Supervisor:
* Communication: Maintaining clear and effective communication with crane operators, signallers, and other relevant personnel.
* Safety Management: Identifying and mitigating potential hazards, ensuring proper load security, and implementing risk management strategies.
* Inspection and Maintenance: Conducting pre-lift inspections and ensuring equipment is properly maintained.
* Documentation: Maintaining records of lifting operations and reporting any incidents or near misses
* Planning and Coordination: Developing and implementing lifting plans, coordinating personnel, and ensuring all equipment is in safe working order.
* Supervision: Directing and overseeing lifting operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
