About Our Nursery

Located in Thames Ditton, our nursery is rated Good by Ofsted and accommodates 89 children in a bright, spacious environment divided into three rooms tailored to different age ranges. Our outdoor space wraps around the building, offering shaded areas for exploration and play. We pride ourselves on our long-standing staff team, who are dedicated to giving every child the best start in life. With excellent links to the local community, including nearby schools and a library, we are conveniently situated within walking distance of Thames Ditton train station, providing easy access to London. Plus, we offer free parking for staff, making drop-offs and collections hassle-free!

Role Responsibilities

* Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
* Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
* Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
* Act as Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
* Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.


Required Qualifications

Ideal Candidate:

* Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
* Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience preferred (ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager, or Nursery Practitioner).
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
