SEN Teaching Assistant - Mainstream Primary School in Colne, to start ASAP. Location: Colne, Lancashire. Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm. Salary: £13.75 - £15 per hour.
Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive primary school? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team in Colne, providing tailored support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEN, adapting to their individual needs.
* Assist the class teacher with general TA duties, including lesson preparation and classroom management.
* Implement EHCPs (Education, Health & Care Plans) and support students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.
* Foster an nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes confidence and independence.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school setting.
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to adapt to different age groups and learning abilities.
* A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is desirable.
