We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead all commercial aspects of a major infrastructure scheme in the Birmingham area. This is a senior position with responsibility for a contract turning over in excess of £10m per annum. You will ensure robust financial management, risk control, and delivery of long-term value.
The role requires travel in excess of 5,000 miles per year and comes with either a company car or a car allowance.
Key responsibilities
Lead project start-up and set commercial strategies
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Manage and develop supply chain partners, driving continuous improvement in cost, quality, and learning
Prepare valuations, submit invoices, and secure payments
Develop strategies for concluding client negotiations
Identify, manage, and eliminate unnecessary costs
Monitor and report on resource utilisation
Produce accurate CVR reports and forecasts
Identify early project risks and implement mitigation plans
Oversee project close-out to contractual and commercial targets
