Purpose of the role: The eCommerce Manager for Trade on Tap is responsible for driving the performance, user experience and growth of our online B2B shop for publicans. As eCommerce Manager, you will oversee all digital aspects of the eCommerce operation – including site merchandising, promotional implementation, user experience, product content and analytics. While logistics is handled by a separate function, you will be the commercial and digital owner of the shop, ensuring it delivers value to publicans and commercial return for the business. The role will also work with IT to ensure that Trade on Tap is fully integrated into its dependent platforms such as Navision and Pubhub. The eCommerce Manager will support communications with our customers via multiple digital channels including Zendesk, email and SMS to support the wider Customer contact centre (CCC) team as we move to web only ordering. Duties & Responsibilities: Shop Management Own the day-to-day performance of the Trade on Tap eCommerce shop, ensuring it is user-friendly, up-to-date and commercially optimised. Manage the eCommerce calendar, including seasonal promotions, featured products and brand campaigns. Act as the main liaison with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to maintain accurate product information and availability. Own the relationship with True Commerce to ensure that Trade on Tap stays online and continually optimising. Work with IT to ensure that we have the optimal set up for maximising control as well as allowing for seamless updates to the platform. Content & UX Oversee content management across the site – including product descriptions, imagery, categories and navigation. Champion the user experience, continuously optimising the site for ease of use, conversion and mobile responsiveness. Identify areas for digital improvement and work with IT or delivery teams on changes to enhance shop functionality. Commercial Ownership Monitor sales performance, product-level data and customer trends to identify optimisation opportunities. Work with Marketing and Commercial teams to align on pricing, stock strategy and promotional plans. Set KPIs and drive performance through A/B testing and reporting. Customer Support & Communication Own the relationship with customer service partners to ensure Trade on Tap users receive timely and helpful support. Manage internal comms and marketing around Trade on Tap – ensuring pubs are aware of offers, new products and site updates. Supplier & Stakeholder Management Coordinate with suppliers and content teams to ensure timely onboarding of new products and updates to existing listings. Represent the voice of the customer to internal teams, providing insight from platform analytics and feedback. Skills, Experience & Qualifications: Strong previous experience in eCommerce management, ideally in a B2B or wholesale environment. Proven experience managing end-to-end eCommerce operations (site content, merchandising, performance optimisation). Strong understanding of digital user experience and eCommerce best practices. Experience working with eCommerce platforms Data-led mindset with comfort using analytics tools and dashboards to drive decisions. Commercially minded and performance-driven, with strong attention to detail. Excellent project management and prioritisation skills – able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication skills – able to coordinate across commercial, IT, suppliers and pub-facing teams. Proactive, self-starter with a passion for improving the customer experience through digital.
