"The best job I ever had. Everyone from the carers to management are just lovely. You won't regret it!"
We have positions available providing care and support for adult females with Autism and Complex Care needs in a supported living setting on a 1:1 basis.
This is a full-time role, and you should be available to work shifts across the week, including a mix of earlies, lates, some weekends, and sleep-in shifts as needed.
We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and creative individuals with a good sense of humor to support clients who are energetic and inspirational!
No two days are the same, with a variety of fun activities such as puzzles, baking, arts and crafts, or just having a cup of tea.
Applicants need experience supporting people with Autism and understanding that clients may communicate through behaviors; demonstrating proactive and positive approaches is essential.
A typical day may include:
1. Using your experience to support good life skills and independence.
2. Maintaining accurate care plans, finances, appointments, medication, and other records.
3. Following support plans to ensure clients feel happy and comfortable, reacting to their needs in real time.
4. Supporting personal care, including hygiene prompts, assisting with bathing and washing, and medication management.
