Are you ready to take the next step in your engineering career? We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Highways Engineer / Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Sheffield. This role plays a vital part in supporting construction and maintenance projects within our highways network.
What You’ll Be Doing: As a Highways Engineer / Surveyor, your work will be essential in ensuring projects are delivered safely, accurately, and to the highest standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring compliance with all health and safety legislation
* Surveying and levelling of construction sites
* Accurately setting out project locations using plans, drawings, and BIM data
* Mapping structural boundaries and contributing to buildability reviews
* Communicating regularly with project teams and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in site surveying and highway construction
* HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering
* Strong communication and team collaboration skills
* Experience using Leica Total Stations (desirable)
* Operational health and safety experience or qualifications (desirable)
* Full UK driving licence
