As a Producer at The Podcast Guys, you’ll lead the day‑to‑day delivery of a slate of shows — including managing recordings, working directly with clients, overseeing edits, and helping shape the creative direction of each series. You’ll be confident juggling multiple projects and passionate about maintaining the highest standards in audio and visual storytelling. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role where your ability to keep things moving — and make them better — will be crucial. You’ll be part of a collaborative team of producers, editors and creatives, working together to deliver bold, engaging branded content.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the lead producer across a portfolio of branded podcasts and video content, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery
* Manage client relationships at a project level, acting as their main day‑to‑day contact
* Set up and run recording sessions (remote, studio, or on‑location), ensuring a smooth technical and editorial experience for clients and guests
* Coordinate all aspects of post‑production — including briefing editors, reviewing drafts, and delivering assets to clients
* Ensure all production timelines, episode details, and team responsibilities are documented clearly on Monday.com or similar software.
* Manage and maintain budgets at a project level, escalating any overages or concerns to senior leadership
* Support the planning and creative development of shows, including scripting, structure, segment ideas, and guest research
* Provide feedback and support to more junior members of the team and freelancers where appropriate
* Stay up to date with content trends, tech developments, and podcast industry best practice
What We’re Looking For
* 3+ years of experience in audio and visual podcast production or a similar multimedia production/agency role
* Strong technical understanding of recording workflows and editing (ideally Adobe Audition/Premiere Pro)
* Experience setting up and managing in‑person and remote recording environments (self‑shooting skills are a bonus)
* Excellent communication skills and proven experience managing clients or stakeholders
* Highly organised with a track record of juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
* Creative thinker who can contribute to show formats, audience engagement ideas, and storytelling
* Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non‑technical colleagues across the production process
* Someone who is comfortable writing show descriptions, titles and copy – dealing with DISCLAIMERS and a keen eye for detail
Location
Office Based from our newly renovated premises in Bermondsey Street, London Bridge.
How to Apply
Send your CV and cover letter to careers@thepodcastguys.co.uk with the subject line: Producer Application -- [Your Name]
Your cover letter should be no longer than one page and must include the following:
* A show pitch. In no more than a short paragraph, pitch us a branded podcast for a brand of your choice. Tell us the format, the audience, and why it works. We're not looking for perfection -- we're looking for how you think.
* Why TPG. Tell us what you know about The Podcast Guys and why this role appeals to you specifically. Generic applications will not be considered.
* The secret word. Somewhere in your cover letter -- naturally, not in a list -- you must include the word "workflow". Don't flag it. Just use it.
Applications that do not follow all three instructions above will not be considered, regardless of experience.
