THE ROLE As a Payroll Administrator you will be organised, driven and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the process of weekly payroll for up to 2,500 employees and we are looking for someone with previous weekly payroll experience. This role will be based in our Manchester Head Office, in the heart of the Northern Quarter. YOUR TEAM In Finance, we charge towards commercial aims. WHAT YOU'LL DO Ensure weekly payroll is completed effectively and accurately within the designated timescales. Process new starters and leavers. Process changes to terms and conditions of employment and any changes to pay. Process statutory claims - SMP, SPP, SSP etc. Process Court Orders and Attachment of Earnings Orders. Issue P45's for leavers and process P45's for new employees. Operate and reconcile pension schemes and company share schemes. Be able to demonstrate sound payroll knowledge up to date with current legislations. Liaise with HMRC and local councils where necessary. GDPR compliant. Setting up new company suppliers and influencers on SAGE/company supplier platform. Any other administration tasks where necessary. Checking new suppliers and influencers that have previously been set up or update details when required. ABOUT YOU CoreHR experience desirable - however training will be given. Minimum 2 year's payroll experience Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail with a pragmatic approach. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines - be flexible with working hours where necessary to meet the business demands. MORE ABOUT YOU To succeed here, you have to love working at pace.
