Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser, based in Southampton. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive hearing assessments, fitting, and calibrating hearing aids, and providing effective audiological aftercare. You will also be trained to do Ear Wax Removal. The role also involves offering expert advice to patients, understanding their lifestyle needs, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest level of care and quality standards are maintained.
Qualifications
* Professional qualifications or certification as an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Dispenser in the UK
* Strong technical skills, including the ability to perform hearing tests and fit hearing aids
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to tailor care and advice for individual patient needs
* Knowledge of audiological equipment and willingness to work with advanced, evolving technologies
* Proactive approach to patient care and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes
* Organizational skills and time management capabilities
* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or will be applying.
* 40 hours per week over 5 days
* Must be resident in the UK and have right to work
