Closing Date for Application: Sunday 01/03/2026 This apprenticeship is designed to give you a strong foundation and real hands-on experience in mechatronics. You’ll learn across mechanical, electrical, electronic, fluid power, and control systems while working alongside experienced engineers. You’ll gain practical skills in: Fault finding and diagnostics Robotics and automation Control systems and maintenance By the end of the programme, you’ll be a confident and adaptable Mechatronics Engineer, ready for a career in modern manufacturing and engineering. Apprenticeship Structure Year 1 – Foundation Phase You’ll build essential skills, knowledge, and workplace behaviours. Successful completion is required to progress. Year 2 – Development Phase You’ll apply what you’ve learned on the job, demonstrating practical competence and professional standards. Years 3 & 4 – End Point Assessment You’ll work towards your End Point Assessment (completed between months 42–45), including: A professional engineering interview An assessment with the exam board What You’ll Be Doing Learn core mechatronics principles (mechanical, electrical, electronic, fluid power, and control systems) Diagnose and fix faults in real-world maintenance situations Work with robotics, automation, and control systems Support the maintenance and improvement of complex machinery Attend college and meet academic and workplace targets Work safely and follow all health, safety, and company procedures Collaborate with others and contribute positively to the team Show a commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement You'll enjoy working Monday to Friday week What We’re Looking For You don’t need experience — just the right attitude and potential.
