Key responsibilities
* Redesign and refine existing safety workwear garments
* Produce accurate electronic patterns, including grading
* Create and manage digital design files using CAD or similar software
* Develop clothing design concepts into sample prototypes
* Prepare clear technical design information to support sampling and development
* Collaborate with our team to translate product requirements into practical, manufacturable designs
* Support the product development process from concept through to prototype stage
Qualifications
* Proven experience in clothing or garment design
* Strong technical knowledge of pattern cutting, electronic pattern creation, and grading
* Must be confident using CAD or similar software to produce digital garment design files, patterns, and graded specifications
* Experience taking garments from initial concept to sample prototype
* Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and functional performance
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a flexible basis
* Ideally based locally to Chesham or within easy reach
* Experience in safety workwear, PPE, uniforms, or technical clothing
* Knowledge of materials and construction methods suited to durable workwear applications
