What will you be doing?
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) assisting the wider project cost control team with:
- Develop effective interfaces with project teams.
- Provide support to all aspects of cost control of assigned projects including forecasting and commitment tracking of man hours, procurement activities and vessel operations.
- Perform a business-partnering role, providing project managers with advice and support in managing cost and finance aspects of their projects.
- Work with project managers to prepare monthly financial forecasts and sensitivity analysis for assigned projects.
- Complete all required month end processes and reports for assigned projects by ensuring that SAP accurately reflects project costs and revenues to date, including any accruals or prepayments.
- Analyse variances from as-bid financials by building a detailed monthly analysis of variances from prior forecast.
- Attend project / client meetings and provide relevant financial input and reports as required.
- Support issuing of project invoices.
- Prepare project cash flows in support of the Group's Treasury requirements for cash flow forecasting.
