Role | Senior Planning Solicitor

Offer | £90,000 - £100,000 per annum
We are working with a major infrastructure organisation seeking an experienced Planning Solicitor to join their in-house legal team.
This is a high-profile opportunity to support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure and environmental projects, advising on complex planning, consenting and statutory processes across nationally significant developments.
Key responsibilities:
* Advise on planning, consenting and environmental matters relating to major infrastructure projects.
* Lead and support Development Consent Order (DCO) applications and associated statutory processes.
* Provide legal advice on compulsory acquisition, planning permissions, environmental permitting and related regulatory matters.
* Work closely with external counsel, consultants, regulators and internal stakeholders to manage legal risk and support project delivery.
* Support senior leadership teams with strategic legal guidance on consenting strategy and project development.
The successful candidate:
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 10+ years PQE.
* Strong experience advising on DCOs and major infrastructure consenting matters.
* Background in planning law gained either in private practice or in-house.
* Commercially minded with a pragmatic and collaborative approach.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
