Mid and South Essex are recruiting for a Locality Operations Oversight Cell Manager. This is a pivotal role for how we will function during this period. Mid and South Essex will have 3 managers to ensure seven day cover is provided. It will bring together all aspects of resource capacity, optimising its availability to provide operational performance and efficiency on a day-to-day basis. Working closely with and as part of the ICB System Co-ordination Centre (SSC), you will be responsible and accountable for managing operational service delivery across the winter period ensuring that all issues are communicated to all relevant partners.

Main duties of the job

To collaborate and liaise with system partners within the Integrated Care System (ICS) to ensure timely arrival to clear of resources at the acutes and collaborative working across the ICS.

Lead the interface between in day production activities with fleet availability, people resourcing and the providers of services to staff such as Clinical Advice Line, CAS, Single Point of Contact and bespoke services as provided by the Trust

· Ensure the optimal provision of staffing to deliver service levels

· Maintaining levels of out of service within agreed percentage levels

· Proactively managing out of service to support the wellbeing of staff following adverse incidents requiring debrief and welfare

· To critically identify any incidents of concern that may require intervention of an operational manager to support staff members

· Maintain policy and working guidelines for operatives and staff regarding out of service

· Communication with Incident Response and Support Managers to support mutual delivery of efficiency in service

· Analysing data and developing strategies and tactics to achieve reduced lost production time

· Optimising the availability of produced resources to control services

· Any other reasonable task as required by the Trust commensurate with optimising in day performance of the operational and oversight cell.
