FiveRivers People Services Team are looking for a full-time permanent Senior HR Advisor.
About Us
FiveRivers are a widely recognised industry specialist with over 25 years’ experience in the consultation, design and implementation of ecological and environmental solutions. Our specialism is delivering projects in the water environment, for example our design and build projects include wetlands creation for nutrient mitigation, natural flood management, river restoration and habitat enhancement, fish passage and easements.
About the role
As Senior HR Advisor you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the People Services department, from handling all HR related queries and ER cases, to assisting with recruitment and onboarding as well as working with managers and employees to advise and train on best practice and people management. The role will involve a level of admin including new starter and leaver paperwork, but equally as we are a small team there is lots of opportunity to work across a variety of aspects of HR and work on a range of projects that interest you.
You'll deputise for the People Services Manager so you need to be able to be self-sufficient and confident in the day-to-day activities including Employee Relations.
About you
We would love you to have:
* CIPD qualified or holding equivalent experience
* Strong experience in an HR generalist role, with the knowledge and confidence to deputise for the People Services Manager
* Strong experience in Employee Relations in particular
* Ability to drive and implement the strategy set by the People Services Manager/Group Services Director
* Excellent communications skills with the ability to coach and influence managers
* Ideally, experience working in an SME and an understanding of the unique challenges we face
* A positive attitude and willingness to be hands on and get stuck in

Please note: this will be a hybrid working role with 2-3 days spent in the office, more during induction period. We are currently based out of Thruxton but by June we will have relocated to a new office in Codford near Warminster.
