We're working with a well-established, internationally connected London law firm that's looking to add a 4-8 PQE Employment Associate to their growing team.
A bit about the firm
Our client is a respected mid-sized City firm with a global reach through its wider network. The Employment team is busy, growing, and refreshingly balanced — you'll see a genuine mix of respondent and claimant side work, acting for everyone from international corporates and UK businesses through to high-net-worth individuals.
You’ll be joining a 2 Partner team which means that there’s plenty of opportunity for you to progress in seniority.
What you'll be doing
You'll run a varied employment caseload from day one — handling both contentious and non-contentious work. Expect plenty of hands-on drafting, advisory work and client training and seminars, with juniors to supervise as you go. Your work will include disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, discrimination, contracts and TUPE. It's a genuine mix of contentious and advisory, with the autonomy to shape how you run your files.
You’ll also be given lots of opportunity to pursue business development and attend client training and seminars. This will help you grow your network and put you in a great position to one day make Partner.
What you’ll need
* 4-8 PQE Employment Solicitor.
* Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
* Experience gained in private practice.
