We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of building services within aernment facility. This role requires a proactive approach to both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
Your new role
1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and other building services.
2. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns.
3. Conduct inspections and ensurepliance with safety regulations and standards.
4. Collaborate with other maintenance engineers and contractors to ensure efficient operation of the facility.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to the Facilities Manager.
6. Participate in on-call rotation to provide emergency maintenance support.
What you'll need to succeed
7. City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
8. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within aernment or largemercial building.
9. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and building services.
10. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
11. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
12. Goodmunication and teamwork skills.
13. Willingness to undergo security clearance checks.
