We enable new opportunities for our customers through digitalisation.Area General Manager – Concrete to take full accountability for the performance, profitability, and safety of our concrete operations within a defined geographic area.This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing a team of commercial and operational professionals and collaborating closely with our customer service Centre in Syston. You will play a vital role in ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction while delivering strong commercial results.Key Responsibilities:Take full responsibility for the profitability and Health & Safety performance of all concrete plants in your areaLead and manage a high-performing team of operational and commercial staffAbout You:Proven leadership experience in a commercial and operational management role, ideally within the construction or materials industryStrong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and a track record of promoting a safety-first cultureStrategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute market and operational plansExcellent communication and people management skillsResults-oriented, with a focus on performance, service, and efficiencyWork in close partnership with the customer service team to ensure exceptional service deliveryDevelop, own, and implement the Market Strategy Plan to drive growth and competitiveness in your areaChampion a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountabilityEnsure full compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant legislationThe incumbent in this role will have full responsibility for the profit and health & safety of the Heidelberg Concrete plants located within a defined territory area.
