Job Description
CloudOps Senior – GCP. This 100% operational role focuses on day-to‑day execution, support, and troubleshooting of Google Cloud Platform environments. There is no people leadership or project ownership. The position requires hands‑on execution, strict adherence to operational procedures, and close collaboration with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
Role Scope
This role is strictly operational and execution‑focused.
Daily operational tasks and support activities
Incident response, troubleshooting, and escalation
No people management or project leadership responsibilities
Strong focus on compliance with processes, schedules, and customer requirements
Key Responsibilities
Operate and support GCP networking services including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, routes, Cloud NAT, Cloud DNS, load balancers, VPN, and Interconnect.
Perform daily monitoring, operational checks, and routine maintenance tasks in GCP environments.
Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and access issues related to networking, compute, containers, and applications.
Respond to incidents, follow defined runbooks, document actions taken, and escalated according to established procedures.
Use Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Network Intelligence Center, VPC Flow Logs, and Connectivity Tests for diagnostics.
Support CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, Artifact Registry, and Git‑based workflows.
Support containerized workloads running on GKE and Cloud Run, including networking and connectivity issues.
Execute infrastructure changes using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) following approval processes.
Maintain accurate documentation, operational runbooks, and incident records.
Operational Expectations
100% on‑site work, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
No home office or hybrid work flexibility (customer requirement).
Formal dress code required daily: suit jacket, dress shirt, and dress pants.
High level of punctuality, attendance, and task completion.
Professional and consistent communication with customers and internal teams.
Incident Handling & Escalation
When facing incidents or issues that cannot be immediately resolved, the analyst is expected to follow established procedures, communicate proactively, and escalated appropriately rather than acting independently or remaining silent.

Self‑driven and autodidact, capable of learning independently using documentation and internal knowledge bases.

Able to work under pressure and follow instructions during incidents.
Technical Requirements
Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong knowledge of GCP networking concepts and services.
Experience with troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and connectivity issues.
Basic to intermediate experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Experience supporting container platforms such as GKE or Cloud Run.
Preferred Certifications
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer.
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer.
Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer.
