Job Title: Security Operations Engineer

Job Description:
As a Security Operations Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and resilience of our security infrastructure. You will be responsible for implementing security changes, deploying and maintaining security profiles, and optimizing our security protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in identity management (IDM), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and Zero Trust architecture (Z-Trust). Additionally, you should be adept at working within a DevSecOps framework and have hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with cross-functional teams to implement security changes and enhancements.
2. Drive the adoption of DevSecOps principles and practices throughout the organization.
3. Implement automation in the security area, including developing automation code/scripts.
4. Collaborate with other team members, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to optimize security measures.
5. Design and document technical designs for integration and implementation of cloud applications and systems.
6. Engage with customers on a regular basis.
7. Work closely with IT operations to develop security solutions and best practices.
8. Design and create secure baselines with an IoC approach.
Requirements:
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal.
* Experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment in Azure cloud services and architectures.
* Understanding of IDM, SASE, and Z-Trust principles and best practices.
* Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) – at least 4 years.
* Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
* Strong skills in Python, Terraform, Bicep, and version control systems.
* Experience with Azure cloud security - at least 4 years.
* Knowledge of system architecture and hardening standards.
* Understanding of secure operating platforms based on Kubernetes/Azure technologies.
* Familiarity with security best practices, security by default, and security by design.
* DevOps and Networking knowledge.
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Certification in one or more Security disciplines such as CISSP, CISM.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Designing and Implementing Azure DevOps Solutions (AZ-400).
* Azure Network Engineer Associate certification.
* Certified System Administrator Associate certification.
