JOB DESCRIPTION At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals. In deal valuation at PwC, you will focus on providing analysis and valuation services for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions. You will help clients make informed decisions by assessing the worth and potential risks of various deals.
About This Role:
Join PwC Deals Valuations as a Director in London or Manchester, leading and expanding our Valuation practice. You'll work nationally, focusing on the Southeast if based in London, or the North of England and Scotland if in Manchester. Engaging with a range of clients, from start-ups to global organizations, providing valuation support across various stages of development. Collaborating with broader Deals and Regulatory practices, including significant projects like valuations of large banks, asset managers, insurers, loan portfolios. Additionally, support our audit practice as a valuations expert for clients including FTSE companies.
This Role is For You If:
1. You are a confident and proactive valuation expert with industry experience in financial services.
2. You possess deep financial modeling skills and ideally have experience with tools such as Alteryx and PowerBi.
3. You hold relevant industry qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA.
4. You excel in business and client relationship development and have strong communication and people management skills.
5. You have technical expertise in valuations, including shares, debt, and intangible assets, and are comfortable articulating the importance of technology and AI.
What Your Day Will Look Like:
6. Lead and oversee valuation engagements.
7. Write and review valuation reports/analysis, communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
8. Build and manage client relationships, focusing on existing and new projects.
9. Coach valuation staff on technical skills, industry knowledge, and commercial acumen.
10. Collaborate with wider Deals and local partners to manage client relationships.
