We are seekinga proactive and detail-focused Senior Finance Officer, for an immediate start,to join a unique and purpose-driven SEN Multi Academy Trust based in North London.Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Finance Officer will play a central role in managing and improving the Trusts financial systems and ensuring compliance with internal policies and ESFA requirements. Youll deputise for the Finance Manager when required and provide financial advice to senior leaders and school teams.Key responsibilities include:Managing payroll reconciliation, VAT submissions, and financial reportingSupporting audit preparation and monitoring SEND fundingBudget scenario modelling and monthly reconciliationsOverseeing the Trusts financial controls and asset managementLeading a small team and building strong working relationships with internal stakeholdersYoull be AAT Level 4 qualified (or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA) with experience gained within a multi academy Trust, a good understanding of the EFSA handbook and knowledge of Access Education Finance.This is a full time, all year through, on site role.Dedicate Recruitment operates as a recruitment agency on behalf of permanent staff and as a recruitment business for temporary workers.
