Coded Welder (Mobile – Quarry Sites) South West UK (Multi-Site Role) £18 – £21 per hour (DOE) Company van and D2D Immediate start availableNEOS Engineering are working with a well-established engineering and maintenance contractor supporting quarry and heavy industrial sites across the South West. They are looking to appoint an experienced Coded Welder to join their mobile engineering team.The Role As a Mobile Coded Welder, you will be responsible forCarrying out MMA, MIG and Stick welding on quarry and heavy plant equipmentStructural repairs on crushers, conveyors, hoppers and fixed plantFabrication and repair work on heavy industrial machineryTravelling between multiple quarry sites across the South WestWorking independently to diagnose, repair and complete high-quality weldsSupporting planned maintenance and reactive breakdown repairsEnsuring all work is completed safely and in line with site proceduresThe Candidate We are looking for someone withProven experience as a coded welder within a quarry, heavy plant or similar environmentStrong background working on crushers, screens, conveyors or heavy fabricationRelevant welding codes (MMA, MIG and Stick essential, TIG beneficial)Experience working in a mobile or multi-site roleAbility to read engineering drawings and work independentlyStrong understanding of health and safety in quarry or industrial environmentsExperience working within a quarry maintenance contractor environment is highly desirable.Essential RequirementsValid welding codes to industry standard, recent or expired consideredCSCS card or equivalent site qualificationQuarry passport or similar (preferred)Full UK driving licence due to mobile nature of the roleConfined space or IPAF (advantageous but not essential)Package£18 to £21 per hour depending on experienceOvertime available where applicableLong-term ongoing work across multiple sitesOpportunity to work across varied heavy industrial environmentsThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled coded welder who enjoys autonomy, variety and working across multiple challenging quarry sites in a mobile role across the South West.Apply now or contact NEOS Engineering for more information.TPBN1_UKTJ
