Location: Thomas Bata House, East Tilbury, Thurrock
Salary: £25,584 – £32,000 per annum (£12.29 – £15.38 per hour, depending on experience & qualifications)
Hours: 20:00 – 08:00, two-week rota (Week 1: 3 nights | Week 2: 4 nights)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours/week)

The Role
We're looking for an Awake Night Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team. You'll be responsible for ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and emotional support of children and young people throughout the night. This includes carrying out welfare checks, responding to incidents, maintaining security, and ensuring the home is calm, safe, and welcoming for the morning.

About You
Essential:
* Experience working with children/young people in residential or similar settings
* Understanding of safeguarding & child protection
* Ability to stay alert, calm, and responsive overnight
* Strong communication & recording skills
* Team player with the ability to work independently
Desirable:
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve)
* First Aid, Fire Safety, or other relevant training
