Housing Assistant Earn £12.60 per hour, £24,638 per annum Permanent full time 37.5hrs per week Based at the Reading Office, supporting the London team Home, a place where you belong This is a great job opportunity for Housing Assistant to join Sonia Gayle and the Housing Team. As our Housing Assistant you will be providing support to our Housing Managers in our London Patch. If you like variety, and supporting customers, and want to develop a career in housing, then this is the perfect job for you! What youll do Engaging with customers on the telephone and giving administration support to our Housing Managers, youll really get to know our communities. Youll support our Housing Managers to look after their patches and through this, help us to improve our local neighbourhoods. Youll support with tasks such as managing our general enquiries from customers which includes liaising with local authorities and at times engaging and meeting with contractors on site. You will support the Housing Managers with following up on compliance checks in our buildings and communities. The practical bits Youll spend an average of 2 to 3 days working from our Reading Office, the rest from home with occasional travel required. Although youll be based at the Reading office we spend 1 day every 6 weeks in our London office as a team. We work Monday to Friday. To get from A to B, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage! Youll need a Standard DBS check done and we pay for that.
