Bespak is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the CEO, CFO and Group Leadership Team. This permanent role will be based onsite at the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary range for this role is between £45k and £50k plus a discretionary annual bonus. Our site in Holmes Chapel is an Investors in People Silver Award-winning Pharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation with over 350 employees, currently going through a period of significant site expansion. We are investing heavily to increase our capacity for developing and manufacturing sustainable Pressurised Metered Dose Inhalers (asthma inhalers) with greener propellants, meeting the evolving standards of the industry, while providing comprehensive development, manufacturing, filling, and finishing solutions for a range of medical devices, including Soft Mist Inhalers, Dry Powder Inhalers, nasal sprays, and medical check valves.
Summary
The Executive Assistant (EA) provides high‑level, proactive, and confidential support to the CEO, CFO, and wider Group Leadership Team. This role is critical in enabling senior leaders to operate efficiently, ensuring smooth coordination across a fast‑paced, science‑led CDMO environment. The EA acts as a trusted partner, managing executive priorities, streamlining communication, and safeguarding the effective operation of the executive office.
As an Executive Assistant your duties will include:
* Executive support to CEO & CFO, managing complex diaries, acting as trusted gatekeeper, and preparing briefings, Board materials, and key communications.
* Group Leadership Team (GLT) coordination, including arranging meetings, agendas, papers, action tracking, and follow‑up against strategic priorities.
* Governance & confidentiality, drafting and managing sensitive correspondence, maintaining accurate records, and supporting Board and governance processes.
* HQ operations leadership, overseeing day‑to‑day HQ running, facilities, suppliers, events, visitors, and ensuring a professional executive environment.
* Travel, events & logistics management, coordinating complex global travel, leadership meetings, town halls, off‑sites, and customer engagements.
* Continuous improvement & stakeholder engagement, building strong internal and external relationships, leading initiatives, and enhancing ways of working
Executive Assistant key skills and experience:
* Significant experience supporting C-Suite/senior executives in a fast paced, high growth, or science/engineering focused industry
* Exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional documents.
* Discretion, integrity, and the ability to handle highly confidential information.
Working Pattern – Monday to Friday usual working times of 8:30am to 5:00pm with an 8:30 am to 3:45pm finish on a Friday. This is primarily an on‑site role; however, some flexibility and occasional hybrid working will be supported.
