NSB Recruitment is supporting a leading public sector organisation in the appointment of a Regional Facilities Manager to join its central estate’s function. Reporting to the Director of Estates, this is a high-impact role responsible for ensuring all sites are safe, compliant, sustainable, and fit for purpose. About the Role You will lead and deliver strategic estates initiatives across a diverse portfolio of sites (covering Swindon & down the M4 corridor to Reading), combining hands-on operational management with long-term planning. This includes capital projects, compliance, sustainability, risk management, and facilities leadership, working closely with contractors, staff, and central teams. Key Responsibilities Lead procurement, management, and delivery of capital projects, ensuring value for money and timely completion. Maintain accurate asset records and oversee site improvements and contractor performance. Drive sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives to reduce costs and environmental impact. Identify and manage estates-related risks, supporting business continuity and resilience planning. Provide leadership on Health & Safety, ensuring statutory compliance and safe environments. Manage budgets, monitor spend, and ensure procurement and financial controls are followed. Mentor and develop estates staff while building strong relationships with stakeholders. Candidate Profile Experience in Facilities Management & Project Management across a multi-site estate. Health & Safety compliance. Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across a diverse estate portfolio. Relevant qualification in Facilities, Estates, Engineering or similar. NEBOSH Certificate) preferred.
