Equifind are recruiting for an Associate-level/ Senior Associate position to join a Global Private Equity investor in their global Valuations & portfolio management team based in Singapore.


This Global Investment fund have a diverse range of strategies from PE buy out to credit and real estate among others across an array of funds.


What will I be doing?

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with collection, analysis, and reporting of data primarily associated with approximately the Asian portfolio companies. You will be closely working with investment and investor relations teams across several offices, which will require occasional travel. Valuation and analysis is at the core of this role.


Some of the key duties include:

* Track portfolio company financials and provide insightful commentary on portfolio company financial performance on a monthly/quarterly basis
* Work with Port-co senior management on monthly operating reviews
* Perform monthly and quarterly valuations on the investment portfolio companies
* Partner with the IR team to assist with benchmarking and analysis
* Assist in the preparation of KPIs and materials for annual investor meetings, quarterly valuation meetings, as well as various management presentations
* Compare and evaluate fund and deal performance through IRR, return on capital, and benchmarking analytics
* Enhance the group’s bandwidth and analytical capabilities by implementing automation solutions
* Assist with the construction and management of a competitive intelligence tracking system on the firm’s portfolio companies and their competitors
* Leverage the team’s analytical tool set to blend discrete data sources into interactive executive-level dashboards
* Interact with external consultants and internal teams to support the implementation/maintenance of cloud-based data systems
* Assist in the development and testing of fund-level hypotheses for the firm’s various investment strategies
* Ad hoc projects as requested


What do I need to apply?

* Bachelor’s University graduate or a degree that demonstrates numeracy
* Strong modelling skills – ability to build DCF and LPM models
* Ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem solving
* Highly developed problem-solving skills and demonstrated critical thinking ability
* Proven ability to build relationships at all levels
