SENIOR ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER
NORTHAMPTON

Here at GXO, we are looking a Senior Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in Northampton. The ideal candidate will have experience within logistics, supply chain, manufacturing or multi-cost environments. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be a confident communicator able to partner with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday7.5 hours per day plus 0.5 unpaid break

What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Produce timely and accurate weekly and monthly management accounts for multiple customers and operational cost centres
* Lead variance analysis and commentary, clearly explaining performance drivers and highlighting risks and opportunities
* Support month-end processes including journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and KPI reporting
* Support the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and rolling outlooks
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Part-qualified or fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA, or actively studying toward qualification
* Experience within a multi-user warehousing or 3PL environment
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
* Proactive, curious, and commercially minded
* High proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP/finance systems
