Established in 1943, our network of Learning Locations provide day and residential courses for all ages, from young children to retired adults, from schools and communities throughout the UK, reaching many others through our publications and community-based programmes. What you’ll be doing As one of our Casual Hospitality & Catering Assistants your duties will be varied to include setting up the dining room for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, working in the kitchen assisting with food preparation and serving food to our visitors. Our centre is always busy, so we need casual team members that are happy to help wherever required. As part of this role, you could also be asked to help our housekeeping operations, with tasks such as cleaning and laundry. Where you’ll be based The Rhyd-y-Creuau Field Centre is set in the beautiful, rugged landscape of the Snowdonia National Park, yet close to secluded wooded valleys, rocky shores, beaches and traditional seaside resorts. Our 2.2 hectare estate includes a football pitch, woodland, biodiversity garden, campfire area, teambuilding challenges, stream and ponds. We are a short drive south from the A55 North Wales Expressway, making us easily accessible throughout the year from most areas. The nearest railway station is at Betws-y-Coed, which is a simple flat walk of around 1km.
